Three Bladed Ceiling Fans

A common misconception about ceiling fans is that the more blades they have, the more air they will push. In fact, the amount of air a ceiling fan will move is dependent on the size and power of the motor, as well as the pitch at which the blades are set. Some three bladed ceiling fans can move more air than a four or five bladed ceiling fan, based on the before mentioned factors.

Another misconception is that three bladed ceiling fans are a cheaper alternative, but this is also not the case. Many of the ceiling fans found on the market today are produced from an aesthetically-pleasing standpoint, with a more modern and contemporary design. Due to this design aspect, and advances being made from AC to DC motors, a three bladed ceiling fan may be more expensive dependent on the level of features it possesses.
