180cm Threaded Downrod Oil Rubbed Bronze (21mm) 

This 180cm Threaded Downrod Oil Rubbed Bronze (21mm) is only suitable for use with the Orion Ceiling Fan Oil Rubbed Bronze 52″ by Iconic Fan Company. It measures 91cm in length with a diameter of 21mm, and is a threaded downrod. This downrod comes with pre-drilled holes, as well as a threaded end for easy installation. The term ‘threaded’ refers to a spiral ridge on the inside of the downrod, which allows the downrod to be screwed into motor of the fan. Whilst the length of this downrod measures 180cm, it can also be cut to size by your builder or electrician to your required length. Once cut, a new hole must then be drilled into the cut end of the downrod, to allow the pin joint to attach to the ball joint in the roof canopy.

Most ceiling fan models (with the exception of the Sierra) can be adapted with a downrod. Please find a list below of which downrods are suitable for which models;

• Orion – 21mm threaded downrod
• MAXair, Astra, Dakota, Ball, Velo, Altus, Halo, Torsion and Schoolhouse – 21mm non-threaded downrod
• Stratus and Sycamore – 26mm non-threaded downrod

Warranty

Your Iconic Fan Company or The Modern Fan Company ceiling fan (excluding accessories such as the Remote Control Transmitter and Receiver, Accessory Light Kit & Wall Control) is covered by a three year on-site warranty. Remote Control Receiver and Transmitters (Handsets), Accessory Light Kits (integrated or externally mounted) and Wall Controls are covered by a one year on-site warranty. No further warranty is offered on these items after the one year period.

Warranty claims are considered on a case by case basis, and are determinant upon the terms and conditions as outlined on our Warranty Procedures page. All ceiling fans must be installed by a licensed electrician, and fans should not be removed or serviced prior to contacting EID Fans, as this may void your warranty.

In the event of a manufacturing defect (material or workmanship), EID Fans will provide a repair or replacement for any product considered to be defective, as per Australian Consumer Law standards. As a gesture of goodwill, EID Fans will also provide a $100.00 compensation fee for your electrician. We advise obtaining a quote from your electrician prior to making arrangements to replace your faulty ceiling fan. All faulty ceiling fans will be returned to EID Fans and tested prior to a compensation fee being given. Any goods returned that we deem to be an installation error and not in fact a manufacturing defect (material or workmanship) will not be met with a compensation fee.
